Impacted Model: Model year 2007 and 2008 Holden CG Captivas fitted with 2.0 litre diesel engine.
As a precaution, Holden has issued a voluntary safety recall on certain model year 2007 and 2008 Holden CG Captiva vehicles fitted with a 2.0L diesel engine. Holden has also written three separate letters to owners of these vehicles explaining the action Holden was taking and what the owner could do.
If you believe you have been denied a remedy by Holden in the past in relation to your model year 2007/2008 Holden CG Captiva vehicle fitted with a 2.0L diesel engine, you did not pursue a warranty claim because of comments made to you by Holden or a Holden dealer, or if you feel that you did not obtain an appropriate resolution to an issue with your vehicle, please contact Holden and your claim will be re-assessed.
