Step 1
You car is fitted with an diesel particle filter (DPF) to help reduce emissions of soot particles. Over time the soot builds up in the filter and needs to be burned off and cleaned through a process called Automatic Regeneration.
Step 2
This cleaning process is fully automatic and is controlled by the car’s computer so most of the time you won’t know it is happening. However under certain driving conditions such as short, stop start journeys, or if the engine is turned off during the process, Automatic Regeneration may not be able to be completed. In this case, the orange DPF indicator lamp in the instrument cluster will come on or flash.

Step 3
If the DPF lamp is on or flashing, you should continue to drive at speeds above 50km/h, keeping the engine speed above 2000rpm, until the light goes out. This can take up to 25 minutes.

Step 4
If your speed drops below 50km/h, the Automatic Regeneration process will pause and automatically start again once the speed increases but it is important not to stop the car or switch off the ignition as this will prevent the Automatic Regeneration process from being completed.

Step 5
For information on the operation of the Diesel Particle Filter (Exhaust Filter), visit www.holden.com.au/ownership-and-servicing/faq or check your Owner’s Handbook.

Vehicle Operating - FAQs

If you are not receiving Side Blind Zone Alerts, check the feature is not turned off through the radio customisation menu. If the feature is on, ensure the rear bumper is clean of any dirt or mud as this can prevent the alerts from activating. Any damage to the rear bumper where the radar is located can also cause false or no alerts.
Side Blind Zone Alert will not report an object if the difference in speed between your vehicle and object of interest exceeds 16kph. If your vehicle is being overtaken, you will not receive an alert if the difference in speed is 65kph or greater.
