Holden Assist. Advanced satellite car monitoring system; a system only available on some of the world's most prestigious cars, including Holden Caprice and HSV Grange**. Holden Assist is an interactive primary security system which provides on-board assistance 24 hours, 365 days of the year.* Holden Assist does more than send for roadside assistance, it adds a whole new dimension to the words 'Holden Customer Care'.

If you lock your keys in your car. Once the identity of the owner has been validated Holden Assist can unlock your car remotely by sending a signal to the vehicle.

If your battery is low. The system will automatically send an alert. Holden Assist will attempt to contact you.

In an emergency. Press the red SOS button to contact the Holden Assist Centre. Staff will attempt to make voice contact, locate your position and contact emergency services if needed.

In the event of a crash. If an airbag has been deployed, the system will automatically contact the Holden Assist Centre. The operator will contact the vehicle and attempt to make contact with the occupants. If there is no response, or if requested, emergency services will be notified.

If you need roadside assistance. Press the "Holden Assist" button for help to be sent.

If someone tries to gain unauthorized entry. The system will automatically contact Holden Assist, and the operator will establish voice contact. If the person in the car is unable to be identified as the owner, a security patrol or the Police may be alerted.

If your car is stolen. Holden Assist is able to locate and track your stolen car. Once located, Holden Assist may notify the Police. Then, working in conjunction with the Police, they are able to safely immobilise the engine.

Potential Insurance benefits. With the added security Holden Assist brings to your car, you may (depending on which insurance company you're with) be eligible for a discount on your car insurance payments. A simple call to your insurance agent can determine whether you're able to get a discount. If you are, simply call 1300 88 00 88, and we'll issue a certificate verifying Holden Assist is monitoring the security of your vehicle.

Please note that Holden will not be involved in insurance discount negotiations between the insurer and the customer.

*Holden Assist service is dependant on the availability and functionality of GSM network and GPS system.
