Bluetooth

Overview

The Bluetooth® car kit allows you to answer incoming calls on your mobile phone without looking at, or touching your mobile phone. Your Bluetooth® voice capable phone need only be inside the vehicle for it to connect to the Bluetooth® car kit.

An inbuilt USB interface connects to:
1. Memory devices such as USB sticks
2. Devices such as iPods.

Bluetooth® wireless technology
Bluetooth® devices communicate using radio waves. The Bluetooth® car kit is specially designed for mobile phones that support Bluetooth® wireless technology. The Bluetooth® mobile phone and Bluetooth® car kit do not need to be in a line of sight. For example, your mobile phone may be in your bag whilst connected to the Bluetooth® car kit. The two devices need to be within a maximum of 10 metres of each other.

Important Information
As Bluetooth® standards are implemented differently by various mobile phone manufacturers depending on the mobile phone software version used, certain mobile phones may not be compatible with the Holden vehicle's Bluetooth® system. As a result, you should check with your Holden dealership to determine your phone's compatibility with the Holden vehicle.

Not all Holden vehicles come standard with a USB port.
