2011 Co-operative Student Program - Go one better

It takes a diverse team of talented people to produce the world-class products that have made us an Aussie icon. Behind the latest models there's a huge team at work - not just in engineering but across a variety of areas including: HR, finance, marketing, sales, GPSC and design.

Our 12-month Co-operative Student Program is designed so you can get hands-on experience in our exciting environment. If you really want to get a head start in your career, we think you can't go better than that.


About the Co-operative Student Program

Our 12-month industry placement starts in January 2011 and is a valuable career booster that takes you one step closer to landing your dream job on graduation. It's open to eligible undergraduates from a range of different business areas, so you'll share this world-class experience with people from all kinds of backgrounds.

The Co-op Student Program offers you hands-on experience contributing to a real project, skills development, the chance to network across our national team and the opportunity to work with top professionals in your field.


Who we're looking for

The Holden Co-op Student Program is ideal for you if you want to take a 12-month break from your degree to gain some hands-on experience in your area of study. We are offering placements in these areas:

Engineering
Design
Finance
Sales and Marketing
Global Purchasing and Supply Chain (GPSC)
IT
Human Resources


How to Apply

To apply for our Co-op Student Program, you must be undertaking a relevant undergraduate degree, and have at least one semester left to complete at the time you start your placement.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for all Co-op Student positions. If you are an international applicant, you must have a relevant visa that allows you to work full-time during the period of employment.

To apply - you need to submit your application under the relevant job area at https://manpower.nga.net.au/fnt_jobs_list_filter.cfm?mode=HoldenAll. We don't require you to apply for specific roles - simply apply under the area you are currently studying (eg: Finance, Marketing, Engineering etc). From there we will review your application, align you to suitable roles and make contact with you to see if we can help your career Go One Better!

Graduate Program

Holden's Graduate Program is a structured two year rotational program designed to create well skilled employees with a broad range of experiences. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across key areas before you are integrated into the business, beginning a career with Australia's iconic car company.
