Holden Planning lead the development of a winning, customer driven vehicle and powertrain portfolio.  They ensure robustness in our portfolio planning process and integrate globally to deliver a winning Holden Portfolio. This is enabled by  identifying and acting upon portfolio gaps/opportunities, executing healthy lifecycle plans, and focusing on delivering more innovation (product initiatives) and technologies into our vehicle plans

Program Management

Holden Program Management leads the cross-functional teams responsible for executing new products outlined in the Holden portfolio plan. They set program schedules and product performance targets, monitor the program performance to those targets, track design, release, validation, sourcing and prototyping of new vehicle components, driving decisions that resolve scheduling and execution issues and assure on time start of production for every Holden product.

Program Management are accountable for a range of activities including:

  • Driving effective program decisions and change management
  • Driving accountability across all functions
  • Leading achievement of program imperatives (cost, quality, timing)
  • Managing and communicating program content
  • Developing and applying a vehicle development process that integrates across all functions
  • Structuring, monitoring, and assessing risk to improve architectures and vehicle programs
