MANY ROLES: ONE TEAM
Electrical. Within the Electrical team, we integrate electronic technologies like wireless, touch screens, LAN, rear cameras, batteries and circuit design to provide seamless electronic performance.
Body. The Body group is all about the design, development, testing and validating the interior and exterior systems and components of our vehicles.
Advanced Vehicle Development. In conjunction with planning, we create and lead new vehicle programs, from inception to approval. We provide the interface to the design studios, lead the vehicle packaging and undertake research projects for GM R&D.
Vehicle Development & Integration. We’re responsible for optimising cars to deliver the right performance in areas like fuel economy, quietness and handling.
Safety. We develop the car’s structure and safety systems to achieve optimum levels of safety.
Proving Ground & Test Labs. We carry out measurements and tests on vehicles, systems or parts.
Chassis. Our Chassis team conducts engineering design and development work on future model brake, steering and suspension components to ensure they meet vehicle performance requirements.
Vehicle Validation. We are responsible for ensuring that our products meet all the performance requirements to wear the Holden badge.
Powertrain. Our Powertrain team is charged with delivering the best performance from our engines and transmissions.
Quality Engineering. Our Warranty team acts on buyer and dealer feedback to ensure complete customer satisfaction through engineering solutions.
Customer Satisfaction. We work across the whole of Holden to ensure products exceed customers’ expectations for features, performance, and execution.
Materials & Corrosion. We specify, test and investigate materials such as paints, metals, plastics and adhesives for use in vehicle design programs.
Heating, Ventilation & Air-conditioning. We design and build systems that control heating, air-conditioning and cooling systems for our engines.
Prototype Operations. We project manage pre-production builds for engineering including test property definition, Bill of Material (BOM) generation and part procurement.
Vehicle Engineering. Leads the technical integration of the vehicle, based on customer requirements from concept to production.
