Leave For Life
Holden is committed to ensuring employees have every opportunity to balance their personal and family caring responsibilities with their working lives. A range of generous leave provisions are available to support this, including annual leave loading for eligible employees, up to 14 weeks paid maternity leave, parental leave and family/carer's leave. Eligible employees are also entitled to 1 rostered day off per month.
Holden Sponsored Studies
To encourage the skill development of all employees, Holden offers support to employees who wish to undertake external courses considered of mutual benefit to the Company and employee. Employees may also be granted allowances or flexible working hours to attend lectures and tutorials.
Medical and Para Medical Services
There is an on-site Medical Centre with full-time qualified Medical and Nursing staff at each Holden site. These centres provide treatment for all work-related injuries and illness, occupational health screening programs, and occupational and personal health education programs.
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional counselling and consulting service available to Holden employees and their immediate families. This program can assist employees facing personal, family or work related problems. The EAP service is confidential, voluntary and free of charge.
Holden Vehicle Purchase Plan
Holden is the premier Vehicle manufacturer in Australia - and we want to recognise and reward the efforts of our loyal employees who contribute to our success. Generous discounts are available to eligible employees and their immediate families on the purchase price of new and used Holden vehicles. These bonuses increase for additional years of service.
Car Lease Plan
Eligible employees are able to participate in the Company Lease Plan. Employees may select a vehicle of their choice with the lease charge covering vehicle usage, registration, insurance and servicing.
Canteen Services
There are subsidised cafeterias located at all Holden sites. From these dining facilities, all Holden employees are able to purchase a variety of foods and meals at very affordable prices.
On-site banking
Commonwealth Bank provides a full range of banking services at Holden's Fishermans Bend Site. Big Sky Credit Union provides full range of banking services at Holden's Dandenong, Lang-Lang and Fishermans Bend Site.

Holden regularly participates in numerous initiatives and activities organised by the wider community. Through the Holden Community Support program, we are able to provide valuable donations to a large number of community groups, non-profit organisations and educational institutions across Australia.
